Immediately I'm struck by the bold, imposing design of the bottle - the blacked out glass shows this Gin means business, whilst the coppery label pays homage to the process it went through in order to appear before me. Opened, I poured a generous measure into a glass and added some of our tonic water. I even dug a cucumber out of my fridge and added a slice of that - it's not everyday you taste something so exquisite, you know. It's incredibly aromatic, with scents of cucumber and mint - an unusual combination that really does work.

Then it comes to tasting, and I'm happy to report it's another unusually wonderful combination - a deliciously clean blend of cucumber, with its sweet, crisp taste - perfectly balanced out by the juniper that always comes through in dry Gins, adding the peppery aftertaste we've come to expect from such Gins.
