Such an interesting combination this, I've been looking forward to trying it. My two favourite desserts were, and still are, rhubarb crumble and custard, and ginger pudding and custard. Maybe I just liked custard. It's entirely possible.
Either way, the Tiny Tipple Company was founded in 2015, and prides itself on small batches and locally sourced ingredients - always a good sign for quality. I served mine with a bottle of one of my favourite tonics, poured over ice, and I can say it was a great homage to my favourite desserts. The tart taste of rhubarb was perfectly balanced by the warmth and spice of the ginger, leading into a perfect tasting tipple. It's a little unorthodox, but there's no doubt in my mind that anyone who tries this won't be disappointed.
