I've been looking forward to reviewing this gin for weeks, any bottle that has the word "intensely smooth" on it is worth taking the time to really get to know.

So just like a new lover I intended to pour my heart and soul into this review, but first things first, let me get my priorities straight, I need to pour myself a glass :)

On first impressions there is nothing not to like about this Gin, it ticks all the boxes, it comes in an alluring bottle, it's distilled in a 100 year copper still, you can drink it neat or on the rocks and finally it comes infused with a rather unique list of botanicals that include Almond, Angelica, Blackberry, Blueberries, Cinnamon, Bulgarian Coriander, Grains of Paradise, Tuscan Juniper Berries, bittersweet Valencian Orange peel and Orris Roots.

So, no more further ado, here goes, the first sip... Wow, that was surprise, it begins with a tinge of heat, but was bright and floral on the nose, the nose on this is just lovely, it has a hint of cooked fruit, strawberry, damson jam and almond, I would be happy to smell this gin all day long.

The palate then comes to life with nutty, blueberries, juniper and soft aniseed notes before a dryer blackberry, coriander and berry taste lingers to a refreshing and dry finish. I adore the dry finish on this. Very nice indeed.
