I have before me the delightfully bespoke bottled 43% abv LinGin from our April Gin Club, launched in 2018 by married couple Ross and Alyson from the Linlithgow Distillery using two state of the art Geno Steel Stills named “Gleann Iucha” (Gaelic for Linlithgow) and “Scotty” from Star Trek who will be born in Linlithgow in 2222 (look it up, it’s true 😊).
Lin Gin was created with the help of over 100 lucky locals partaking in tasting panels (aka “knees ups”) using coriander seeds, meadowsweet, cubeb, cassia, orange peel and cardamom botanicals for an incredibly smooth classically London Dry gin that finishes with a hint of pepper when drank neat, yet comes alive with citrus once you add a tonic and garnish.
Well done guys, you have a beautiful story, a stunning bottle and of course a gin as smooth as they come.

We love gin so much we started our own Gin Club back in 2019 and pride ourselves on running the UK's friendliest dedicated gin club around. However, its very rare, but don't get me wrong, things do go wrong. It drives us insane from misrouted deliveries to smashed bottles, we have seen it all and that is why, whatever happens, we promise to always go the extra mile to make it right with a timely and sympathetic ear that truly does care what you think.
