Important Points

We do not sell to anyone who is under 18 years old. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old when you place your order or if sending as a gift you confirm that the recipient is at least 18 years old.

We rely on both Royal Mail and Courier services to deliver our products. Although the next day success rate is high at 94%-97%, some deliveries unfortunately do arrive late and therefore we do not guarantee your delivery date or times. Please bear this in mind when ordering. We recommend that, if possible, you send your items to arrive the day before you need them.

It is vital that you supply as much information with your order as possible, including an active email address and a daytime telephone number, just in case there are any problems.

Once you have submitted your order you should be taken to a "Thank You" screen giving you the main details for your order. You will also receive an auto-generated confirmation email with your order details and a direct link to our Tracking Facility.

Order Amendments

If you need to advise us of any changes to your order, please get in touch at least 2 working day before the day of despatch for normal orders or 5 working days for a Gin Club subscription to allow us to respond in time.

If an amendment request is received too late, we will of course endeavour to still make the changes requested but we cannot guarantee it.

If a recurring Gin club Subscription has been made and your amendments mean we need to refund you, then this will be actioned within 5 working days of the request.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order for any reason, please get in touch at least 2 working day (Shop orders) or 5 working days (Gin Club and Year of Gin orders) before the day of despatch to allow us to respond in time.

All cancelled Shop and Year of Gin orders will incur a proportional 2.5% cancellation fee to cover the card processing fees paid and additional administration involved.

All cancelled Gin Club memberships will just be stopped at no charge.

Order Payments

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Delta, Maestro, Solo, Electron, JCB and PayPal for Shop and Year of Gin orders.

All payments are taken at the time of your order, irrespective of the delivery date.

Recurring Order Payments

The initial payment including any additional items you have added will be taken at the time of your order irrespective of the delivery date. All remaining payments of £40.00 will then automatically be made on the 26th day of the month prior to your next scheduled delivery. For example, if you order a 2-month subscription for delivery on 20th December, your first recurring payment will be taken out on the 26th of February ready for your first subscription delivery in March. If the original order date was before the 11th of the month, say December 5th, then your first recurring payment will be taken out on the 26th of January ready for your first subscription delivery in February.

We do not accept PayPal for Gin Club memberships and this method of payment will not be made available to you when you a Gin Membership is in the basket of your order form.

Delivery Methods

We offer a comprehensive array of delivery methods all at different costs and levels of guarantee. It is important to the smooth running of our service that you understand the differences and choose the most appropriate service for your needs.

Year of Gin and Gin Club Memberships come with FREE Delivery as standard throughout, however you do have the option on your initial delivery to choose from our range of premium timed deliveries and Saturday services to suit you.

We reserve the right to change your chosen delivery method if due to operational requirements it becomes necessary.

Delivery Problems

From time-to-time situations may occur which will influence our ability to provide the same high level of service. You as the customer would be kept informed at the earliest opportunity and alternative action may need to be agreed. Examples of this type of problem are 1) Delays or suspension of the chosen delivery company's service 2) Adverse weather 3) Civil unrest 4) Strikes 5) Fuel shortages 6) Communications failures 7) Acute stock or material shortages. Placing an order with us means the acceptance of reasonable alterations and delays to our service under these conditions.

3rd Party Locations

These premises would include hotels, hospitals, business, factory/office block, golf club, function room, wedding reception and many other non-domestic situations.

We recommend you do not ship to these locations but if you do choose to your delivery will be made to the nearest point in the location that is allowed, and we cannot be held responsible should your order then not be made available to you or your intended recipient.

If your order was not made available to the intended recipient after us receiving proof of delivery, we are unable to offer you any kind of refund or resend.

Leave safe or with a Neighbour

We offer the choice of a signed or non-signed delivery that can be left safe or with a neighbour, the signed for delivery is our default option, however if you select the leave safe/neighbour option it is at your risk and no refunds will be given if we have proof of delivery.

It must also be noted that the leaver safe or with a neighbour option is at the discretion of the delivery driver and if he deems it unsafe or can't find an immediate neighbour then your order will be taken back to the depot.

Availability of Stock

If the rare occasion we are unable to fulfil your order exactly we will endeavour to contact with you to discuss the alternatives, failing any contact being made we reserve the right to send alternative items of at least the same value. If this is then deemed in error all refunds will only be actioned only when the items in question are returned to us first.
