Featuring a wonderful floral gin from South Africa, I present to you this 43% ABV Cape Fynbos Mountain Special Inverroche Gin Verdant Gin. And if you were fortunate enough to be a member of our (Gin Club) then you would've also received this bottle in our June 2022 club box.
An aptly named gin as they infuse botanicals handpicked from the dunes of a small belt of natural shrubland in the western cape known as fynbos. (You may need to look up the meaning of verdant, it will all make sense 😊)
So with little suspense, let us commence with the Gin tasting itself, cracking this bottle open this certainly not your typical everyday gin, more of a special occasion gin I’d say, its soft floral aroma of elderflower and chamomile invites you in with hints of liquorice and touches of limoncello and soft juniper to finish. This is as refreshing a gin as I’ve ever tasted, it really is the perfect sundowner gin and a delightful addition to anyone’s cocktail cabinet.

We love gin so much we started our own Gin Club back in 2019 and pride ourselves on running the UK's most friendliest dedicated gin club and shop around.
