Fancy a holiday anyone? We do, It feels like we’ve not been allowed out of Lowestoft for years, except to look at the Banksy’s that have popped up recently in and around the town that is and we’re totally done in. But that’s all about to change with our latest box as we have decided to head off to Majorca for our September Gin Club, a Spanish Balearic Island famous for its beach resorts, hungover Brits and citrus and almond exports.
Say “Hola” to this multi award winning and pretty Palma Gin, a punchy 46.6% wheat spirit based gin from the Mallorca Distillery sealed in a beautifully made bottle inspired by traditional mallorcan tiles known as suelo hidraulico. The gin is distilled in a 500litre copper pot using a host of local botanicals including Mallorcan juniper, citrus, almond flowers, lavender, orange leaves, lemon and lime peel and tomato branches alongside coriander, cardamom pods, orris/angelica/liquorice and rhubarb root that produces an incredibly flavoursome and refreshing gin.
From start to finish it offers a complexity and a depth not usually found in the more citrusy forward Spanish gins. it has a fragrant nose and fully developed palate which has captured the true spirit of the island.
All in all, Palma Gin is so much more than just a very pretty bottle, it’s a very well thought out gin and when mixed with tonic and garnished, your authentic Majorcan G&T holiday experience just comes alive.

We love gin so much we started our own Gin Club back in 2019 and pride ourselves on running the UK's friendliest dedicated gin club around. However, its very rare, but don't get me wrong, things do go wrong. It drives us insane from misrouted deliveries to smashed bottles, we have seen it all and that is why, whatever happens, we promise to always go the extra mile to make it right with a timely and sympathetic ear that truly does care what you think.
