A very warm welcome to Giant's Basalt Rock Gin from Basalt Distillery from Northern Ireland. This gorgeous hexagonal bottle is only 50cl but comes in at a whopping 50.1% ABV, so we really didn't want to pass this up.
In this month's Gin Club you'll find this marvellously complex gin that is made by taking basalt purified water from a massive 600ft borehole and distilling it down using some cutting-edge technology to create a very precise and detailed gin.
The list of botanicals is a mile long, so we will suffice to say this is one truly special gin that hits you with its initial wave of citrus, juniper and coastal notes before relaxing into warm spices and fresh sea saltiness.

We love gin so much we started our own Gin Club back in 2019 and pride ourselves on running the UK's friendliest dedicated gin club around.
