Say hello to Sixling, a vapour infused 41.6% ABV Cloudberry Gin, Ireland’s World Gin Award winning (Best Irish Contemporary Gin 2020), our (April 2020 Gin Club) and the first ever Facebook Share we did.

This lovely Gin is made by the husband-and-wife team of Tom and Nicola and the name is derived from the 'sixth sense' and the 'inkling' needed to know the perfect time to pick the magical cloudberries, a nice story from a lovely couple. For those of you who haven't heard of cloudberries before, these beauties are wonderful. A sub species of the rose family they produce edible amber fruit and can be found wild in Scandinavia where they are considered a delicacy.

For me, Sixling is a huge winner. It is flavoursome and well-rounded with a fresh and fragrant nose and a genuine complexity that isn't as sweet as you may think, considering the grapefruit, elderflower and wild berry botanicals.

So there you have it! If I had to sum Sixling up, I'd ask you to imagine a lonely cloud floating high on a sunny day... and you'd have pretty much already nailed it. A gorgeous standalone Gin with great looks and taste which is definitely as smooth and balanced as they come.
