As a bit of an Essex boy myself--I grew up with salt marshes only a bike ride away and did my fair share of exploring them--it's an absolute delight to introduce you to Ben and Kim from the East Coast Distillery. These guys actually hand delivered their gins to us as it is being included it in our October 2023 Gin Club box and it is was just wonderful to shoot the breeze, talking gin and life whilst sipping their delightfully bottled 40% ABV vapor infused flagship Tide's Fortune Gin. Great times, thanks guys, you are "reem". 😊
The gin itself has a real sense of place, using wild Sea Buckthorn and shoreline foraged sea purslane with bronze fennel, caraway seeds, Lapsang Souchong tea and grapefruit botanicals they have created an exceptionally well-balanced gin that offers waves of freshness that lap at your senses amongst a subtle citrus sweetness and sea buckthorn piquancy that leads you into the more savoury, smoky and coastal notes. Honestly guys, a top gin this, from a top team and a gin you will love.

We love gin so much we started our own Gin Club back in 2019 and pride ourselves on running the UK's friendliest dedicated gin club around. However, its very rare, but don't get me wrong, things do go wrong. It drives us insane from misrouted deliveries to smashed bottles, we have seen it all and that is why, whatever happens, we promise to always go the extra mile to make it right with a timely and sympathetic ear that truly does care what you think.
