This month we are heading into the heart of Pembrokeshire and following an ancient trail that has connected people for thousands of years. Inspired by the famous Golden Road that winds across the Preseli Hills, Golden Road Dry Gin from Golden Road Gin is a beautifully crafted Welsh gin that arrives dressed in a striking blue and gold mountain-shaped bottle that immediately caught my eye.

At 40% ABV, it is wonderfully balanced and reassuringly traditional. Juniper sits proudly at the forefront, supported by bright citrus notes and a gentle floral character that keeps everything fresh and elegant. It is crisp, clean and incredibly easy to enjoy, whether served simply over ice or topped with a quality tonic.

For me, this gin captures the spirit of the landscape that inspired it. There is something timeless about it - a sense of heritage, craftsmanship and quiet confidence. Much like the ancient route from which it takes its name, Golden Road Dry Gin feels like a journey worth taking. Smooth, refreshing and beautifully presented, it is one of those gins that invites you to slow down, pour another G&T and enjoy the view.
